Relics from the Past

Here you can find projects, updates, and interests of mine that found their way onto earlier versions of this site, sometime in the distant past. Many of them seem a tad silly now, but, at some point in my life, they meant enough to me to publish.

You can view photos from my 7th grade trip to Greece (the 'Ultimate Field Trip'), or several reports I composed while pursuing my childhood passion, the Middle Ages.

Below, you can find also find links to several early documentaries and photo galleries.

If you want to delve even deeper into the past, you can visit the oldest version of my website, from when I was in Middle School.

Youth Leg 2007

My high school's youth in government group (of which I was a part) attended the 2007 YMCA Youth Legislature Conference in Nashville. As in previous years, we had the privilege of using the state capital and surrounding buildings. In 2007, I was a lawyer with my friend Ben, which meant we got to argue our cases in the actual Tennessee Supreme Court chambers. It was really cool! Here are the photos!

Youth Leg 2006

Youth Legislature is a 4-day simulation conference. It's part of the YMCA youth in government program. It involves creating a bill and then debating it with all the attendants. Here are some pictures of our group at the 2006 Tennessee State Captiol, as well as other places. Also, here is a PDF of our bill.

Model U.N. 2006

Our area's Model United Nations Conference is held each Fall. It is always a bunch of fun. Our 2006 resolution passed in committee but was sent to the International Court of Justice where it was complemented but ruled against due to a technicality in the title. I'm looking forward to Youth Legislature next spring and I hope to participate as a security council nation. You can see past years' pix here.

French Honor Society Induction

Here are photos from a 2007 induction ceremony for the Société Honoraire de Française (of which I am a member).
